| Bio: | And when I see you kitten as a cat Yeah as smitten as that I can't get that small The way you fur The how you purr It makes me want to paw you all hmm... quiet, shy, easily amused, straight edge, artistic, spiritual, hippie goth chick who likes to dance and sing and play guitar. :-) strangely enough, i used to define myself as being a very depressed, sad individual. i believed that i had nothing of value to offer, believed that i could never be loved, believed my life to be inherently worthless. fortunately, God has shown me differently and given me hope even through those despairing days. my current life, although *far* from perfect and certainly nothing glamorous, greatly surpasses my expectations in terms of the quality of my friendships and opportunities for joy and growth. God has given me a new outlook on life, and the hopeless days are mostly behind me. depression comes and goes in small doses that He has given me the strength to deal with. so more than anything else, i am thankful to Him for the changes He's made in my life. i enjoy adventuring, exploring, and rabble rousing of all kinds. i graduated with an art degree, and usually find myself in a state of being 'semi-employed'. after graduating college, i lived in korea for a year and then found my way back to good ol maryland, where i wreaked havoc with a crew of fire spinners, joined a church choir, got into a serious car accident, became a professional potter, and discovered the joys of baltimore clubbing. it was a busy year and then i was off on another fieldtrip overseas. ;-) i recently returned to the states from a short stint as an aupair in fribourg, switzerland. tis a happy land of cheese, wine, chocolate, and salsa dancing. before that i was a potter/singer/trouble maker. still doing quite a bit of each of those, come to think of it. currently i'm thinking of commiting to that whole 'long term employment' thing. we'll see how that pans out. oh, and i'm just a bit crazy. ;-) | |||||
