the good news is, the worst is over

the bad news is, IT HURT LIKE #^@*ING HELL. i got my wrist set this morning. i dont think i've ever felt so much pain. they held me down and wrenched my broken arm around, supposedly putting it back into place. i really was kicking and screaming. i couldnt help it. it hurt so bad i thought i was going to throw up. by the end, i was drenched in sweat and tears. of course the doctor was trying to make me as comfortable as possible, but theres really nothing that could have been done. it was going to hurt no matter what. but its finished now, and hopefully they got it right the first time. my hand still goes numb and then gets a pins and needles sensation. i'll call and ask if thats normal. rough morning. i hope everyone else had a better monday.

Oh man. I remember them resetting my arm and it hurt like a mother F'ing B. I had to keep my arm raised for about a week afterwards. It really sucked because it happened on New Year's Day and I had to spend the end of Christmas Break in bed with my arm up. But I got out of PE for the rest of the year. :)
It'll get better. I don't remember the pins and needles, but maybe that's why they wanted me to keep my arm propped on pillows.
